Lançado em 1979, British Lions Coming captura Eric Clapton no auge de sua energia ao vivo, misturando blues rock visceral com sua assinatura melódica. Gravado durante a turnê do álbum Backless, este show explosivo traz clássicos como “Wonderful Tonight”, com sua delicadeza emocional, e “Cocaine”, um hino de puro vigor. “Double Trouble” exibe a alma blues de Clapton, enquanto “Tulsa Time” acelera o ritmo com riffs contagiantes. A participação de Albert Lee brilha em “Country Boy” e “Setting Me Up”, adicionando um toque country-rock.
