"Destiny Road" is Peter Green Splinter Groups 4.album.
The most fascinating thing about this album,is how I still can "feel" Peter Greens love for the blues.

Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac was my first real fascination for English Blues. In a few hectic years from 1967 to the early 1970s,Peter Green made some of the best blues melodies , and made his own characteristic guitar sound special on his Gibson Les Paul guitar, who inspired me (and thousands of others) to start to play the guitar.

Sadly he disappeared from the band in the early 1970 because of a serious mental disease in combination with a lot of LSD.

After a long rehabilitation he was slowly back to play music again.
In 1996/97 he started Peter Green Splinter Group and they went on tours and recorded record's.

As I wrote in the start of the comment,I think you have to be in possession of quite unique musical talent to be able to come back and make and play blues the way he does on "destiny road"after his difficult life events.Maybe the record title tell us how he looks at the events of his life.
Anyway I think this record is great, maybe except a track or two (Madison Blues and Turn your love away)
But 10 of 12 is in my opinion an excellent album.
