Lançado em 2011, (Abandoned) Desire é uma joia expandida do clássico Desire (1976) de Bob Dylan, trazendo o folk-rock vibrante com toques de country e uma narrativa poética inconfundível. Este álbum duplo reúne faixas icônicas como “Hurricane”, com sua intensidade visceral, e “Sara”, uma ode emocional, além de versões ao vivo e takes alternativos que revelam a alma crua de Dylan. A violinista Scarlet Rivera e a coautora Emmylou Harris adicionam camadas sonoras únicas, enquanto a banda entrega energia contagiante. “Hurricane” foi inspirada pela injustiça contra o boxeador Rubin Carter, com Dylan mergulhando em uma cruzada lírica. “Rehearsal Dialogue” de 27 minutos, um vislumbre fascinante do processo criativo de Dylan. Bob Dylan’s Medicine Sunday: Uma Pérola Perdida de 1965!

"Medicine Sunday", embora nunca lançado oficialmente como álbum em 2005, é uma fascinante reconstrução das sessões iniciais de Bob Dylan para Blonde on Blonde em 1965, capturando a energia crua de sua fase elétrica. Com um som folk-rock vibrante, misturado ao fervor do rock’n’roll, o álbum hipotético reúne faixas como “Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?” e “I Wanna Be Your Lover”, que exalam a intensidade das apresentações ao vivo de Dylan com The Hawks (futuros The Band). A sonoridade é mais solta e enérgica que o polimento de Blonde on Blonde, com letras poéticas e provocadoras. As sessões em Nova York foram abandonadas por Dylan, que optou por regravar em Nashville, buscando um som mais refinado. Outro destaque é a presença de Robbie Robertson, cuja guitarra elétrica adiciona um brilho único.
