Best of Dark Horse 1976-1989, compilação lançada em outubro de 1989 que captura o espírito inquieto do ex-Beatle em sua gravadora homônima. Misturando rock enérgico, pop melódico e toques espirituais hindus, o álbum reflete a maturidade pós-Fab Four, com letras reflexivas sobre amor, perda e o cosmos, embaladas em produções polidas e grooves irresistíveis.

O hit global "Got My Mind Set on You" (cover explosivo de 3:50), o tributo emocionante a John Lennon em "All Those Years Ago" (3:43), e o psicodélico "When We Was Fab" (3:55), coescrito com Jeff Lynne. As faixas novas, como a vibrante "Poor Little Girl" (4:32) e a experimental "Cockamamie Business" (5:15), brilham com participações de Lynne nas guitarras e backing vocals, evocando o som dos Traveling Wilburys.

Harrison em Dupla Honra: 'The Concert For Bangla Desh & Cloud Nine' Celebra o Legado do Beatle Silencioso

Lançada em 1999 pela Capitol, a compilação dupla The Concert For Bangla Desh & Cloud Nine une o histórico show beneficente de 1971 ao álbum de retorno de George Harrison em 1987, misturando rock clássico, toques indianos e pop melódico dos anos 80. No CD 1, o concerto ao vivo captura a essência fusion de Harrison, com orquestrações sitar e guitarra wah-wah em faixas como "My Sweet Lord" e "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

Incluem participações estelares: Bob Dylan em "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall", Ringo Starr em "It Don't Come Easy" e Ravi Shankar abrindo com "Bangla Dhun". O CD 2 traz covers de Dylan como "Blowin' In The Wind", o hino "Bangla Desh" e pérolas de Cloud Nine, como "Got My Mind Set On You" e "When We Was Fab", com produção de Jeff Lynne e sons limpos, cheios de camadas harmônicas.
