"Very Extremely Dangerous: O Soul Visceral de Eddie Hinton"

Lançado em 1978, "Very Extremely Dangerous" é o estreia solo de Eddie Hinton, um mestre da guitarra de Muscle Shoals que finalmente brilhou como cantor. Gravado ao vivo com a lendária Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, o álbum mistura soul cru e rock sulista, evocando Otis Redding e Wilson Pickett com faixas como "Shout Bamalama" e "I Got the Feeling". Apesar das ótimas críticas, o disco não decolou na era disco — uma ironia, já que Hinton, apelidado de "Otis branco", não apareceu na capa para evitar preconceitos. Um tesouro subestimado do blue-eyed soul!
